We would like to thanks the EWDR Group with Tessa Castelijns as Group Leader for the great week we pass together in Santo Antao Island!!

They weren’t the most lucky groups we had here, they start with some flight issues, and also arrived a week before one of the Islands biggest rain periods since 1984 (only 3 days, but its massive for Cape Verde), what reduced dramatically the dive spots available, because all around were milky waters due to the river flows to the sea.

Anyway, we had a great time with them, we have done a Island trip on Sao Vicente (courtesy of EWDR), and also another one in Santo Antao Island (so green actually), we had dinner several times together and had a lot of fun.

 Diving, even with that poor after rain conditions, they saw a couple of Nurse Sharks, big Turtle and a lot of marine biodiversity!!….a couple of days after, the other group that arrived saw on their two first dives a Whale Shark, and they swim with him for an hour, so, for everything you must have luck !! =P
